
On March 27, Goo Hye Sun shared on her personal channel a photo of herself wearing a UNICEF uniform along with a caption that read, “With hopes that the wildfire damage will subside, I delivered 1 ton of rice to Andong, North Gyeongsang Province.”

She added, “Thank you to everyone for your dedication. I sincerely wish for the quick containment of the fire, swift recovery and emotional healing of the residents. Please stay strong!”
Last year, Goo Hye Sun appeared on tvN’s variety show “Real or Reel“, where she confessed, “I spent all my fortune on education.”

Introducing herself as “Goo Hye Sun, who’s been on a 7-year break from acting”, she shocked viewers by saying, “Honestly, I don’t have a house. On test days or important occasions, I sleep in my car or at the library.”
The show revealed the interior of her car, which was filled with daily necessities and trash, evoking sympathy from viewers.
Goo Hye Sun rose to fame as an internet ulzzang before debuting through a computer commercial in 2002. She later appeared in hit dramas like “Ballad of Seodong” and “Nonstop“, and skyrocketed to fame as the female lead Geum Jan Di in “Boys Over Flowers” (2009).

In the 2010s, she enjoyed peak popularity, starring in dramas and numerous commercials. She married model-turned-actor Ahn Jae Hyun, whom she met during the filming of KBS 2TV’s drama “Blood” (2015), but they divorced in 2020.
Currently, she is attending KAIST’s Graduate School of Science Journalism and recently updated fans with a photo of herself and her professor on her personal channel.
